The Project

Description

During my work at Race IT in 2014, we completely re-designed and implemented the Richmond Multisports website.

Client

Richmond Multisports

Challenge

Since this project was a re-design, it inherited massive amounts of content – all of which had to be re-organized and re-structured to fit the new website layout. I had to create a coherent and attractive layout capable of handling a lot of various content. I had to create brand consistency, as well as provide individuality for each of the separate events. Most importantly, I had to convert the old site to a fully responsive framework.

Approach

As web designer for this project, I was responsible for design compositions, site structure, multiple page layouts and content migration. As front-end developer, I was responsible for HTML and CSS coding, variable code structure to ensure ability to easily update website theme in future, multiple jQuery plugin installments, CMS launch and client training.
